Recently, the highly anticipated International Automotive Powertrain Technology Conference (TMC2026) was successfully held in Nantong, Jiangsu Province. With the theme of “Electrification Evolution of Powertrains, Material System Upgrades, and System-Level Collaborative Innovation,” the conference brought together thousands of industry experts from global vehicle manufacturers, Tier 1 suppliers, and research institutions to discuss innovations and future trends in automotive powertrain technologies.

As a leading enterprise in the high-performance magnetic materials industry, Ningbo Ketian Magnet Co., Ltd. Dr. Yan Changjiang, Deputy General Manager of Ketian Magnet, delivered a keynote speech titled “High-Performance NdFeB Magnets: From Radial Motors to Axial Flux Motors” at the conference. In addition to the keynote presentation, Dr. Yan Changjiang was invited to participate in a closed-door seminar themed “Current Challenges and Future Prospects of Axial Flux Motors.” During the session, he exchanged insights with experts from vehicle manufacturers, motor companies, and research institutions on key topics including material selection, structural design, performance optimization, and industrialization pathways for axial flux motors. His contributions provided valuable “Ketian insights” to support the healthy development of this emerging technology.
