In general, flanges are used one-to-one rather than individually. Flanges are usually used to connect pipes. Flange valves and threaded valves are mainly connected in different ways, and other working methods are basically the same.
Brass is easier to make valves and is more corrosion resistant. After the brass material is forged into a blank by heating and red stamping, the processing is also very easy. Other materials are either not corrosion resistant, or the processing technology is difficult, resulting in high production costs.
When threaded connection cannot be used for large pipes, flange connection will be used.
Brass valves and fittings have higher strength and hardness. Bronze has good casting performance, antifriction performance and mechanical properties.
