Enamel Coil Wire Types, Applications and Introduction

Enamel coil wire is one of the main types of winding wire, which is composed of conductor and insulating layer. The bare wire is softened by annealing, then painted several times and baked. But to produce products that both meet the standard requirements, and meet the customer requirements is not easy, it is affected by the quality of raw materials, process parameters, production equipment, environment and other factors, therefore, all kinds of enamel insulated wire quality characteristics are not the same, but have mechanical properties, chemical properties, electrical properties, thermal properties of the four major performance.


Ⅰ. Enamel coil wire types


1 According to the insulating materials, it can be divided into acetal enamel coil wire, polyester enamel coil wire, polyurethane enamel coil wire, modified polyester enamel coil wire, polyester imide enamel coil wire, polyester imide/polyamide imide enameled wire and polyimide enamel coil wire


2 Enamel coil wire is divided into general purpose enameled wire (common wire) according to its use: it is mainly used for winding wires in general motors, electrical appliances, instruments, transformers and other work occasions, such as polyester enameled wire, modified polyester enameled wire.


Heat-resistant enamelled wire: It is mainly used for winding wires of motors, electrical appliances, instruments, transformers and other working occasions, such as polyester imide enamelled wire, polyimide enamelled wire, polyester enamelled wire, polyester imide/polyamide imide composite enamelled wire.


Enamel coil wire for special purpose: it refers to the winding wire with certain quality characteristics and used for specific occasions, such as: polyurethane enameled copper wire (direct solderability), self-adhesive enameled wire.


3 By conductor material: copper wire, aluminum wire, alloy wire.


4 According to the material shape: round line, flat line, hollow line.
