16th August, 2021-North American Copper Scrap Prices Dipped on Index

TORONTO (Scrap Monster): The North American scrap metal prices remained mostly unchanged on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on August 16th, 2021. Steel scrap prices witnessed no change on Index. Copper and Brass/Bronze scrap prices registered marginal decline, whereas Aluminum and Stainless Steel scrap prices remained flat on Index.

Copper Scrap Prices

The price of Alternator scrap remained unchanged over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing declined by $0.05 per Lb. #2 Copper Wire and Tubing prices were also down by $0.05 per Lb. The price of #1 Copper Bare Bright edged lower by $ 0.05 per Lb.

The prices of #1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices were down marginally by $0.01 per Lb over the previous day. #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices too edged lower by $0.01 per Lb. #3 Copper-Light copper prices inched lower by $0.05 per Lb.

The prices of Copper Radiator edged down by $0.01 per Lb.

Copper Transformer Scrap remained unchanged.

Cu Yokes prices reported no change over the previous day.

Cu/Al Radiator Ends, Cu/Al Radiators and Cu/Al Radiators/Fe remained flat on August 16th, 2021.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices witnessed decline by $0.01 per Lb over the day.

Romex Wire and Heater Cores prices were down by $0.01 per Lb each on Index.

The prices of Scrap Electric Motors, Starters, Sealed units and Xmas Lights reported no change from previous day price levels.
