The price of copper on Monday morning is symbolically rising on some easing of geopolitical fears and increased risk appetite in the markets, according to trading data.
March copper futures on the Comex exchange rose 0.02% to $4.5198 per pound (about 0.45 kilograms).
At the London Metal Exchange (LME), on Friday, the cost of a ton of copper with delivery in three months increased by 0.27% to $9,956, aluminum fell by 0.17% to $3,262.5, zinc – by 0.85 %, up to 3575.5 dollars.
