The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China declined marginally on Index.
BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese scrap metal prices mostly remained unchanged on ScrapMonster Price Index as on August 5th, Thursday. Steel and Aluminum scrap prices remained unchanged over the previous day. Copper, Brass and Bronze scrap prices recorded marginal decline. Stainless Steel scrap prices witnessed no change from the previous day.
The #1 Copper Bare Bright and #1 Copper Wire and Tubing saw price decline of CNY 800 per MT each.
The price of #2 Copper Wire and Tubing also decreased by CNY 800 per MT.
#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices have dropped by CNY 400 per MT on Index. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices saw a decline by CNY 150 per MT over the previous day.
Copper Transformer and Cu Yokes scrap prices dropped by CNY 50 per MT each over the previous day.
Cu/Al Radiator prices inched lower by CNY 50 per MT on Index.
Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices dipped by CNY 50 per MT on Thursday, August 5th, 2021.
Also, Heater Cores recorded decline by CNY 300 per MT.
Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices witnessed a decline by CNY 50 per MT on Index.
